With Love From Provence zChocolat.
With Love From Provence is a new creation by zChocolat that just came out not to long ago, and it’s so delicious that it only took me a couple of days to finish the Whole collection!
This collection is inspired by Provence, that is one of the most charming places in the world.
This collection cumulates all of the region’s unique features and three aspects of France: its luxury, as seen in the mahogany wood ‘Provence Jade 6‘ box; the naturally rustic side, represented in the basswood ‘Provence Zenith‘ box; and the simplicity of taking a moment of pleasure, highlighted in our ‘Provence 15-pc’, ‘Orange Duo’ and ‘Provence 30-pc’.
If it is very hot outside but you still crave something sweet, this is the perfect collection for you.
First of all the boxes will arrive to you, like all their chocolates, in their special box that protects the chocolate and other sweets from the heat, and surrounded with coolers and bubbles to keep them from melting and getting damaged.
The box of chocolate and specialties arrived in perfect conditions, with not even one scratch or dent, and each chocolate and specialty was intact as if it was just made!

I tried the 30 pcs box. Even if it is a simple black box it looks so beautiful. It is composed by two boxes held by a cardboard band with their special design for this collection that represents beautiful fields of lavender.
Ho provato la scatola da 30 pz. Anche se si tratta di una semplice scatola nera sembra così bello. E ‘composto da due scatole contenuti da una banda di cartone con il loro particolare design di questa collezione che rappresenta bellissimi campi di lavanda.
They come in their unique black bag, that this time seems like it is made in a different material, that looks and feels like a cool summer pair of summer jeans!

The two boxes look exactly the same but contain two tipes of heaven!
One box contains 15 of their numbered chocolates, and the other 15 pcs of their new collection of traditional Provence recipes of nougats, calissons d’Aix and pâtes de fruits.
Le due scatole hanno esattamente lo stesso aspetto ma contengono due diversi tipi di delizie!

Nella scatola c’è un foglietto che illustra cosa è ogni singolo dolce e il gusto.
Aprendo la scatola mi ha fatto pensare all’estate e ai colori di quel paesaggio! Come si fa a non amare questa scatola semplicemente a guardarla!
Il primo dolce che ho dovuto provare sono i calissons perché sono qualcosa che non ho mai visto prima.
Before you get to the actual recipes, there is a paper that explains what each treat is and flavour.
So the ones with the letter N are their nougats, C calissons and the Others are different flavored pâtes de fruits.
Opening the box just made me think of summer and the country’s colors! How can you not love this box by just looking at it???
The one that I went for first were the calissons, the four Almond shaped treats in the corners, because the were something I’ve never seen before.
It is made by three layers of goodness! At the bottem there is a thin wafer, in the middle a pretty thick filling of orange flavored Almond paste, topped with a layer of royal icing! It was sooooo good and tasty, that has an unique texture and not at all too sweet!
è costituito da tre strati di bontà! Alla base c’è un sottilissimo wafer, al centro pasta di mandorla aromatizzato all’arancio, coperto di ghiaccia reale! Era così buona e gustosa, con una consistenza unica e non troppo dolce.
If you guys love those gel candies covered with sugar, you will go straight for the pâtes de fruits because they looks soooo much like them, and better!
They have all very bright and natural colors to them, and in the raspberry flavored one you can even see the seeds!
Se amate quelle caramelle gel ricoperte di zucchero, andrete diritti per afferrare questi perché si somigliano molto, ma sono meglio!
Hanno tutti colori molto vivaci e naturali, e in quello al gusto lampone potete anche vedere al suo interno i semini!
They have the same texture of those candies that they look like, but while in those you can taste the artificial flavour, here you only taste fresh fruit! I would say they taste like homemade jam, pressed into this shape and with a jel texture! You can taste the fresh fruit and the great quality never seen before. My favourite one were the raspberry and cherry one, but I loved every single one, even the apricot flavour that I don’t usually go crazy for! They are not too sweet at all. The sweetest one was the apple flavour to me.
Hanno la stessa consistenza di quelle caramelle gel, ma mentre in quelle si sente il sapore artificiale, qui sentirete solo frutta naturale! Direi che hanno lo stesso sapore di marmellata fatta in casa in formato caramella con una consistenza gel! Si sente il sapore della frutta fresca e la qualità eccellente mai vista prima. Le mie preferite erano quelle al lampone e ciliegia, ma li ho amati tutti, anche quello all’albicocca che di solito non mi piace mai! Non sono per niente troppo dolci, a parte quella alla mela verde che per me lo era.
Infine i torroni…
Last are the Nougats…
I am already familiar to these because in Italy they are called ”torrone”, famous around Christmas time. I thought they were going to be exactly the same, but even these surprised me! The taste is almost identical, but there is a slightly different taste to them that is the local lavender honey! It doesn’t taste like flowers don’t worry… but just very good!
Once I finished the Whole box and was sad I was left with none… I started the chocolate box…
Questi sono già molto familiari perché utilizzati in Italia nel periodo Natalizio. Pensavo che il sapore sarebbe stato identico, ma anche questi mi hanno sorpreso! Hanno un sapore quasi identico, ma con una leggera differenza che è il miele di lavanda locale!
Ho poi iniziato la scatola di cioccolatini…
They look like they are the same of the ones I talked to you about in the “Mother’s day” collection box, and they are from the same Numbered Collection, but contain tons of flavours that weren’t in that one!
One that was very different is one that has a “rose” filling.
All of them are to die for! So heavenly, delicious, decadent… I can’t even find the right words!
Sembrano gli stessi di cui vi ho parlato nella collezione della festa della mamma, e infatti sono della loro collezione numerata, ma questa scatola contiene molti numeri che non erano in quella!
Una molto particolare aveva il ripieno con una crema alle rose.

-A milk chocolte shell that contains a mix of coriander seeds and hazelnut.

– This is a dark chocolate filled with a lemon Almond paste. I love the contrast of the two flavours!
– Cioccolato fondente ripieno con una pasta di mandorla al limone.
Ogni cioccolatino è molto diverso con un delizioso ripieno che vi sorprenderà.
